All License Server settings and user settings are defined on the same settings page. The settings are
displayed in a grid format, consistent with other parts of the user interface. The settings page consists of
three distinct sections:
-
User Settings
License4J supports user groups, allowing multiple users to manage the same set of data with varying
permissions. An ADMIN user can invite other users to join the group and manage licenses. The Actions
menu
contains the necessary items for inviting and editing users.
-
SMTP Server Settings
The License Server has a default SMTP server defined, which is displayed as
no-reply@cloud.license4j.com. If
you want to send emails from your own email address, you need to configure your SMTP server in the
settings.
This will enable the License Server to connect and send emails through your SMTP server.
-
Payment Processor API Settings
For the payment processors Paddle and Stripe, an API is required to obtain order details as they are
received. If you are using one of these payment processors, be sure to add your API to the settings.
